Associate Director, University Partnership - Admissions and Recruitment

The Role

Rosedale is seeking a strategic, results-driven professional to join our team as the Associate Director, University Partnership – Admissions and Recruitment. This role is critical in fostering and managing strategic relationships with global universities, particularly in admissions and recruitment, while supporting the Rosedale Global High School network and expanding opportunities for students.

Your Responsibilities

Global University Admissions and Recruitment Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global university admissions and recruitment teams, ensuring they understand Rosedale’s unique educational model and commitment to academic excellence.
  • Engage with senior university leaders, including registrars, associate registrars, directors of admissions, and international office directors.
  • Advocate for policy adaptations to ensure Rosedale students receive fair and competitive consideration in university admissions.
  • Promote recognition of the Rosedale OSSD and its students within global universities through targeted outreach and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between Rosedale and university admissions teams to enhance the application process and student success rates.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify and address student application challenges, improving university engagement and admissions pathways.
  • Gather feedback from universities on Rosedale graduates’ academic performance to inform and enhance Rosedale’s academic programs.

Strategic University Partnerships Development and Collaboration

  • Identify and establish high-impact partnerships with global universities to expand student opportunities, including preferred admissions pathways and scholarship initiatives.
  • Lead collaborative university marketing efforts, recruitment sessions, and partner school visits across the Rosedale Global High School network.
  • Strengthen Rosedale’s presence within the international higher education landscape through strategic initiatives and relationship-building.
  • Implement strategies to enhance Rosedale’s visibility and credibility among global universities.

Oversight of Rosedale Global High School University Counselling Practice

  • Provide insights on emerging trends and best practices in global university admissions to support Rosedale’s partner schools.
  • Oversee university counselling services across the Rosedale Global High School network, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Guide and support counsellors in professional development and university engagement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for complex admissions cases, advocating for students to receive timely and equitable support.
  • Develop escalation protocols for critical application challenges, working closely with partner school counsellors to ensure rapid resolution.

Leadership of the Rosedale OSSD Elite University Recruitment Fair

  • Lead outreach efforts to maximize global university participation and engagement in Rosedale’s annualOSSD Elite University Recruitment Fair.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies that showcase the value of the Rosedale OSSD and its students.
  • Continuously assess and refine event strategies to optimize experiences for all stakeholders, including universities, partner schools, and students.
  • Oversee event communications with universities before, during, and after the fair to enhance the recruitment experience.
  • In charge of event content creation and speaker collaboration in the sections related to university admission and counselling
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on event promotion and branding.

Advocacy for Rosedale OSSD and Student Success

  • Represent Rosedale at educational conferences, university visits, and networking events to strengthen its international reputation.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to highlight student success stories and best practices in university counselling.
  • Attend and speak in invited events in Rosedale Global School Network

RIE owns and operates Rosedale Global High School, which partners with international schools and government organizations to deliver the Canadian Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)program locally, using collaborative in-person programs and digital technology.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of management experience in international student admissions and/or recruitment within both Canadian universities and colleges
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level admissions and recruitment staff at global universities
  • In-depth knowledge of university admission processes and policies
  • Familiar with high school student counselling support services
  • Highly creative with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English; excellent presentation skills for universities audience
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee initiatives effectively
  • A university degree
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

Work Location Policy

Hybrid. You should be able and willing to commute to Rosedale’s HQ Office in Markham at least two days a week.
