On October 25 and 26, 2023, Rosedale International Education will host the annual Global Student Success Forum & Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair, a two-day, free virtual event focused on cultivating student growth from high school to higher education.

This two-day event includes two unique experiences—the Global Student Success Forum on October 25, which is available to all education practitioners, globally, with an emphasis on K-12 education and transition into higher education; and, the Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair on October 26, an invitation-only university recruitment event for the Rosedale Global High School partner school network across 17 countries.

October 25 | Global Student Success Forum

On October 25, the Global Student Success Forum offers timely conversations with education sector changemakers. It’s time to reshape the future of global education—and education practitioners are welcome to join our global education community to engage in strengthening education practices and empowering future leaders. The diverse program offers expert-led dialogue from pivotal voices in education and leading global universities to explore student-centred and evidence-based practices through: 

  • Panel Discussions that support conversations that cultivate positive student outcomes and the transition from high school to higher education, with speakers from: MIT, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University of Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, National University of Singapore, McGill University, and University of Waterloo; 
  • A timely Keynote Address on our sector from Dr. John Malloy, former Assistant Deputy Minister of Student Achievement with the Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada; former Director of Education at the Toronto District School Board—Canada’s largest school board; and, the current superintendent with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in California, USA; 
  • Dynamic Presentations to support learning and development for education practitioners, including from Professor Andreas Schleicher, Director of Education and Skills and Special Advisor on Education Policy to the Secretary General, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); 
  • A session in conversation with an industry expert speaking on AI practice and policy in the international education space; and, 
  • Interaction with international education sector peers through chat and Q&A on our event platform. 

October 26 | Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair

On October 26, the Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair provides an exclusive, invitation-only university recruitment event for Rosedale Global High School students—connecting more than 4,000 students from 17 countries with international student recruitment and admissions officers from more than 35 Global Top 100 Universities. This invitation-only student event includes: 

  • 35+ dynamic University Booths where university representatives speak live with students through chat and video functions; 
  • Private opportunities for 1-on-1 Student-Recruitment Meetings for pre-selected Rosedale Global High School students to meet with an admissions and recruitment staff member from a Global Top 100 University; 
  • Open Q&A Sessions to ask specific questions regarding the application process and student life; and, 
  • Student Workshops on a variety of themes hosted by: University College London, Imperial College London, The University of Edinburgh, NYU, University of Waterloo, McMaster University, University of Toronto, and more!
